Paint the Earth - a bit about us |
|
Paint the Earth opened its doors on 26 September 1998 at 475 Lake Road Takapuna on Auckland's North Shore. Since then Paint the Earth has built up an extensive knowledge of ceramics and an expertise in customer service. The greatest care possible is taken in glazing and firing customers’ ceramic pieces in order to provide a high quality product.
Paint the Earth's aim is to provide a friendly and creative environment for both its customers and staff and to be a creative gathering place that builds community. Customers continue to bring fresh inspiration to the business as they bring their imagination and ideas to life on ceramics.
Cathy and Rosemary have been overseeing the business since its birth but on February 12th 2010 they will hand over the reigns to Hayley, the new owner of Paint the Earth! Hayley has worked for Paint the Earth during 2008-2009 and so already knows "the ropes" both in the shop and the kiln room. She brings a previous background in ceramics to the business plus a fresh passion to see Paint the Earth move into the next decade.
As well as having a new owner, Paint the Earth is on the move... Hayley will be moving Paint the Earth (along with our wonderful staff) to 38 William Pickering Drive, Albany, where there will be more shop space and much easier parking. While keeping Paint the Earth's excellent service and creative environment going, Hayley has some great new ideas and fresh inspiration to inject into the business... watch this space...
